Concur Travel + Gem Worldwide: Chauffeur Service Integration

Gem Worldwide chauffeured transportation

Gem Worldwide is on Concur Travel

Travel managers running a Fortune 500 program live in SAP Concur. Flights, hotels, car rentals, expense — all of it. Ground transportation has historically been the one tile that never quite fit: bookings off-channel, e-receipts manually attached to expense reports, policy enforcement that depended on the traveler remembering the program. Gem Worldwide closes that gap. Gem is Concur Travel integrated. Bookings appear in the SAP Concur trip itinerary alongside the flight and hotel. E-receipts post directly into Concur Expense. Cost-center allocation and policy thresholds enforce at the point of reservation. The chauffeured ride finally behaves like the rest of the corporate travel program.

What the Concur integration delivers

  • Itinerary unification — Gem reservations populate the Concur trip alongside flights, hotels, rail, and rental cars. Travelers and arrangers see the full door-to-door itinerary in one place.
  • E-receipts to Concur Expense — The receipt for every Gem trip flows automatically into Concur Expense, attached to the right report, with cost-center and project-code data prefilled. No manual upload.
  • Policy engine alignment — Gem's vehicle classes (executive sedan, premium SUV, executive Sprinter, mini coach, motor coach) map to Concur Travel's policy engine so program rules — vehicle-class limits, advance-purchase thresholds, approval workflows — apply at the point of reservation.
  • Traveler profiles — Loyalty IDs, preferred chauffeur notes, allergies, child-seat requirements, and accessibility needs travel with the profile.
  • Centralized billing — Trips settle against the corporate-card profile or a Gem house account on monthly invoice. Procurement gets one statement.

How to enable Concur Travel for your program

If your travel program already runs on SAP Concur, the integration is a configuration step at the Concur Travel level — usually a one-meeting setup between your TMC, your Concur configuration owner, and the Gem corporate accounts team. Existing TMC partners with whom Gem is already deployed (Amex GBT, World Travel, Direct Travel, BCD Travel, CWT, in-house programs) can have Gem live in the Concur Travel marketplace within a few business days. Net-new programs start with a 30-minute scope call to confirm city coverage, billing structure, and reporting requirements.

Beyond Concur: the rest of the stack

For programs that also operate on Sabre GetThere, Saturn, Groundspan, Neo1, or proprietary booking tools, Gem supports those channels in parallel. A single corporate program can have travelers book through Concur (executives), GetThere (TMC-managed bookers), or Groundspan (event coordinators) and still settle into one Gem account with one consolidated invoice. The traveler experience and the chauffeur on the curbside are identical regardless of the booking channel.
